Hi! I'm Tamara, Im So Glad You're Here

get to know me, your therapist
Who I Am?
I'll be honest with you: I didn't set out to become a therapist. This career kind of found me, quietly, through my own healing.
Because I've lived through the kind of things that made me need this work myself. Recovery. Loving someone through chronic illness. Grief that reshaped me. Complex family stories I'm still unpacking. I know what it's like to sit across from a therapist and feel like a case file. I know what it's like to leave a session feeling more clinical than seen.
I started Seasons of Self because I was tired of therapy that felt sterile, transactional, or rushed. I wanted to build a space that felt like a soft landing. Somewhere you're allowed to bring your whole self, including the parts that don't fit neatly into a treatment plan.
I do this work because I've been the one on the couch, not just the one holding it. I bring my nervous system into the room with yours. I don't hide behind a clipboard. I laugh with you. I sit in the hard stuff with you. I hold what you're carrying like it matters, because it does.
Here's the thing I want you to know before we ever meet: I live the work I offer. And hand on heart, you are not asking for too much by wanting to be met here. You just have to arrive.

My Credentials
It's my duty and my passion to keep learning so I can serve you better. Here's some of what shapes how I work.

We're Probably The Right Fit If...

I work with individuals 18+ across Ontario. Most of my clients are burnt-out over-functioners, care-based professionals (therapists, nurses, first responders, teachers, healers), and folks navigating identity, spirituality, grief, complex trauma, or big life transitions
I might not be the right fit if you're looking for a 3-session solution, surface-level tips, or purely symptom management. My work is slower, deeper, and relational. If that's not what you're looking for right now, that makes so much sense, and I'd rather help you find someone who is a better match than pretend to be one myself.
This is your first time in therapy and you've been building up the courage for a while. Welcome. You don't have to have language for it. You just have to arrive.
You're high-functioning on the outside but running on empty underneath. Everyone thinks you have it together. You know how much it costs you.
You've done the therapy, read the books, listened to the podcasts, been to the retreats. Something in you knows there's a deeper layer that hasn't been touched yet
You're the one everyone leans on. You've been the strong one for so long you forgot you're allowed to be held.
You're queer, questioning, exploring your gender or sexuality, and you want a therapist who doesn't just tolerate you but genuinely gets it. I'm proudly LGBTQIA+ affirming, and this is a space where you don't have to explain yourself.
You're a first responder, nurse, teacher, or helper. You've been told to "leave it at the door" for years. That door is starting to buckle.
You're spiritually curious. You believe there's something bigger. You're open to breathwork, nervous system work, somatic layers, and the parts of healing that aren't just words.
